Privacy statement
This page explains what information our website collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: very little, and nothing that identifies you unless you choose to contact us.

Who we are
UWAI Robotics is based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We are the operator of this website and the agency responsible for any personal information collected through it under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. You can reach us at [email protected].
Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not use any advertising or cross-site tracking technology. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.
Visitor statistics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Umami does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not identify you. It records the page visited, the referring site, the country, and the browser and device type. Visits are counted from a short-lived, anonymised hash that cannot be traced back to you and is not shared across websites.
If you arrive via one of our printed QR codes or a tagged link, the campaign name (for example which flyer the code was on) is kept in your browser for the duration of that tab so we can tell which material brought you here. It contains no personal information and is discarded when the tab closes.
Contact form
If you use our contact form we receive the name, email address, subject and message you type, which are delivered to us by email. We use them only to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry. The message is sent through Resend, our email delivery provider, and is not used for marketing unless you ask us to keep in touch.
Customer data dashboard
Our Data Dashboard is a separate application for customers, with its own sign-in. It may set a cookie that keeps you signed in; that cookie is necessary for the service to work and is not used for tracking. Survey data in the dashboard is covered by the service agreement with each customer.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Google Firebase. Like any web host, its servers keep standard request logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and reliability for a limited period.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes
If the way this website collects information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
